CURRENT PROGRAMS
Inclement Weather Policy: Our outdoor programs are designed to take place rain or shine. Please dress children for the weather, including layers, rain gear, and sturdy footwear. Programs will be canceled or delayed if weather conditions become unsafe (such as lightning, high winds, extreme heat, poor air quality, or other severe conditions). Families will be notified by email and/or text as early as possible, typically at least 2 hours before the program begins. If a program is canceled due to severe weather, we will make every effort to offer a makeup session when possible. Please note that weather-related cancellations are non-refundable and non-transferable, and makeup sessions cannot be guaranteed. If severe weather develops during a program, participants will be moved to a safe covered location, and families will be contacted if early pickup is required.

Meet us at the Farm: Fall Program
Mondays, Wednesdays, 9:30AM -11:30 AM
and Thursdays, 1 PM – 3 PM.
August 10 – November 1, 2026
Join us for a beautiful, hands-on autumn season of growing, harvesting, and creating! Designed for young growers, this program is all about connecting with the land, our food, and each other as we watch the seasons shift.
Daily Schedule
🌱 Mondays: Garden & Sensory Play
Mindful sensory exploration, nature-based play, and hands-on discovery using the sights, sounds, and textures of the garden.
🧺🎵 Wednesdays: Culinary & Music
Harvest fresh ingredients from the garden, create simple seasonal recipes, then enjoy music, rhythm, songs, and creative expression on the farm.
🌱🪶 Thursdays: Gardening & Birding
Dig, plant, and grow alongside us, then take a trail walk, and learn about our native birds, their habitats, and how they help our gardens thrive through fun, hands-on nature activities.

A Nature-Based Learning Journey

DIG Farm Youth Academy
Spring – Fall 2026 Classes
Ages 10 – 18
Location: DIG Farm, 115 June Rd., North Salem, NY
DIG Farm Youth Academy is a seasonal learning program, connecting young people to the land through hands-on, community-based learning.
The academy is open to youth ages 10–18 interested in foraging, herbalism, food systems, and sustainable living. Classes focus on practical skills, nature knowledge, and outdoor learning.
🌱 Students may drop in or enroll for the full semester to earn homeschool credits.
Students who want to go further can join the Certification Pathway to build long-term skills in regenerative and earth-based practices.
Continue growing with DIG Farm Youth Academy throughout the year.
