Summer Farm Camp: Pick Your Adventure

Pick-Your-Adventure Summer Camp at DIG Farm!
Ages 2 & Up

Mondays – Fridays: 4 sessions available from 9 AM -2 PM
Location: DIG Farm, 115 June Rd., North Salem, NY.

Each hour features a hands-on activity—art, gardening, cooking, yoga, animals, music, and outdoor play. Kids can follow their interests or try something new each day!

$25 per class
Pick 1 hour or stay all day. Bundle and save when you register for multiple sessions.

Little Farm Explorers: Winter Edition

Join us this March, as we bring the farm indoors for a cozy, learn-and-play sensory-based program designed especially for little learners ages 18 months to 4 years.

Through hands-on sensory bins, movement, storytelling, and playful exploration, we’ll bring the outdoors in while building curiosity about nature and farm life. This winter edition helps prepare our young explorers for our return to DIG Farm this April!

KIDS Culinary Corner

Mondays, March 9, 16, 23, 10 AM – 11:00 AM
Location: Pinecrest Community Center, 7100 Amuso Dr., Mt Kisco, NY

Kids Culinary Corner, led by Wellness Educator Danielle Colavito, is a fun and hands-on kitchen adventure for young learners! In this interactive class, kids mix, measure, and explore kitchen safety while creating simple, delicious recipes. Through playful, age-appropriate activities, learners discover where food comes from, build healthy eating habits, and grow confidence in making nourishing choices—all in a warm, supportive, family-friendly environment.

Kids Culinary Corner Menu:

  • 3/9 Rainbow Wraps, 3/16 Energy Bites, 3/23 Sourdough Focaccia

We strive to accommodate allergy concerns by adjusting ingredients when possible. This program is a peanut-free zone. Please let us know about any food allergies or dietary needs ahead of time so we can plan safely.

Literacy in Motion: March Stories

Mondays, March 9, 23, 30, 12:30 PM – 1:30 PM
Location: Lutheran Church, 15 S. Bedford Rd, Mt Kisco

Literacy in Motion: March Stories come alive! Each week, our young learners will explore a new book and bring it off the page through puppets, creative acting, music, dance, and movement.

Designed for ages 2–8, these playful, interactive sessions spark imagination, strengthen early literacy skills, and encourage family participation.

NYS Learning Connections: Aligned with New York State Education Department standards, this program builds early literacy, creativity, and social skills while supporting personal safety, healthy decision-making, collaboration, basic math concepts, and problem-solving through interactive storytelling and movement.

Aeroponic Science & Growing Lab

Learners discover how plants grow through hands-on aeroponic gardening using our Tower Garden, while exploring the comparison between this soil-free method and traditional soil gardening. Through fun, age-appropriate activities, learners explore plant life cycles, water and nutrient use, and sustainable growing practices. The program develops skills in observation, problem-solving, and environmental awareness, while fostering curiosity, responsibility, and healthy living habits.

Interested in supporting year-round learning? Donations toward grow lights will help us create a winter Tower Garden program, allowing learners to continue growing and learning even in the colder months.

Homeschool NYS Requirements Met: Integrated instruction in Science, Mathematics, Language Arts/English, Geography, Health, Visual Arts, Physical Education, and Citizenship/Safety through hands-on hydroponic gardening.

🌿 A Wellness Program for Kids & Families

Be Here Now invites children and families to slow down, breathe deeply, and connect with the present moment. Through gentle movement, mindfulness activities, and creative expression, Wellness Educator Priscilla Padilla, founder of Living On Vibrant Energy, guides participants in building awareness, calm, and emotional resilience.

Grounded in nature and community, this program nurtures the mind–body connection and encourages everyday practices that support balance, focus, and well-being, helping children (and grown-ups!) feel centered, grounded, and truly here now.

Homeschool NYS Requirements Met: Integrated instruction in Health Education, Physical Education, Social-Emotional Learning (Citizenship), Visual Arts, and Mindfulness-Based Life Skills, supporting overall wellness, self-awareness, and responsible participation in a learning community.

Seeds of Kindness: Kids’ Garden Series

Kids Garden Series

Tuesdays, 10 AM – 11:30 AM

In this hands-on, heartwarming garden program, learners explore the joys of growing, eating, giving, and caring for our community. Young learners plant, tend, and harvest in the garden while learning about bees, pollinators, and the journey from garden to table through creating simple treats.

Each week offers opportunities for creativity, discovery, and connection as learners grow plants and kindness alike, then share their harvest with others. Once harvesting begins, produce will be created into delicious snacks as well as donated by our learners to The Pantry at Mt. Kisco, reinforcing community care and responsibility.

It is a fun, educational, and meaningful way to cultivate curiosity, empathy, and a love for nature.

Music with Dr. Mike

Music with Dr. Mike invites children and families to sing with joy and rhythm while exploring the sounds of jazz, Broadway, folk, and more. Led by Dr. Michael Garber, whose 40+ years of music outreach inspire creativity, confidence, and community connection through music, learners engage in active music-making and shared expression.

Participants will also have the special opportunity to join Dr. Mike and Dr. Sue for intergenerational community sing-alongs at the Fox Senior Center in Mount Kisco, sharing the magic of music across generations and strengthening community bonds.

Step into a world where art and science come together! In this engaging, hands-on class, families will explore the natural materials that have inspired artists for thousands of years. Participants will observe, experiment, and craft using plants, minerals, and other wild materials, learning how artists historically made their own supplies and how natural elements interact in creative ways.

Through short projects and close observation, children and adults alike will discover the deep connections between science, creativity, and the natural world, all in just one hour. Perfect for curious minds who love to learn, explore, and create, this class encourages both imagination and understanding, helping families connect with nature while having fun together.

Little Farm Explorers with Ms. Katie

Little Farm Explorers: Fridays, 10 AM-11 AM
Ages 18 months – Pre-K

 Join educator, Ms. Katie, as she guides families through this playful farm adventure filled with curiosity, connection, and fun.  Designed for children ages 18 months–preschool (with their caregivers), this joyful, hands-on program invites little ones to dig, discover, and delight on the farm! Children will explore the garden, enjoy stories and songs through sensory play, try simple farm chores, make simple, kid-friendly snacks, and meet our friendly animals—all while learning through play in a warm, welcoming outdoor setting. 

Sessions are limited to 10 learners per session, so be sure to register early!

DIG Farm Youth Academy

Spring – Fall 2026 Classes
Ages 10 – 18

Location: DIG Farm, 115 June Rd., North Salem, NY


DIG Farm Youth Academy is a seasonal learning program offered in Spring and Fall, connecting young people to the land through hands-on, community-based learning.

The academy is open to youth ages 10–18 interested in foraging, herbalism, food systems, and sustainable living. Classes focus on practical skills, nature knowledge, and outdoor learning.

🌱 Spring Semester runs April–June (dates to be announced). Students may drop in or enroll for the full semester to earn homeschool credits.

🌻 Fall Semester offers expanded programs, including those from our For the People and Kids Educators, with opportunities for leadership, teaching, and community engagement.

Students who want to go further can join the Certification Pathway to build long-term skills in regenerative and earth-based practices.

Join us this Spring and continue growing with DIG Farm Youth Academy throughout the year.
