Welcome to For the People and KIDS, Inc.

At FTPK, joyful learning comes to life! We connect children and families to nature, community, and well-being through hands-on experiences that spark curiosity, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning.

From our teaching garden at D.I.G. Farm to partnerships with farms, gardens, park preserves, museums, schools, organizations, and libraries, our programs nurture the whole child—mind, body, and heart. Each experience is thoughtfully designed, aligned with New York State educational requirements, and fosters connection, creativity, and real-world learning.

We are committed to accessible, family-friendly programming, with fees supporting educators, materials, and space, and partial or full scholarships available to ensure every child of every age and ability can participate.

Inclusion through the Arts

Join us each month for our Free Community Art Workshop, led by Art Educator Dr. Sue. These inclusive workshops are open to all ages and skill levels and invite our community to come together to create art in a welcoming, supportive space. Celebrate self-expression, connection, and creativity while learning from an experienced art educator.

Select pieces created during these workshops will be featured in our March Art for All Exhibit, giving participants the opportunity to showcase their work and be part of a shared artistic experience.

Why Join?

  • Create art in a fun, relaxed, and inclusive environment
  • Learn techniques and creative skills from a professional art educator
  • Connect with neighbors and build community through art
  • Build confidence and express yourself creatively
  • Have your artwork considered for display in a public exhibit

A Joyful Vision Board Experience for adults

Sat., Mar. 14, 10 AM – 12 PM

Caramoor, 149 Girdle Ridge Rd, Katonah, NY 10536

Step away from the rush of daily life and into a morning of reflection, creativity, and connection. This immersive, in-person workshop invites you to slow down, reconnect with nature, and refocus on what truly matters to you.

Begin with a peaceful stroll through Caramoor’s breathtaking grounds, drawing inspiration from the natural beauty around you as you uncover your personal Word of the Year. Then gather in the Art Room to create a meaningful, one-of-a-kind vision board that captures your intentions, dreams, and sources of joy.

Guided by Wellness Educator Tiffany G. Debnam, you’ll engage in thoughtful conversation with a supportive circle of women, enjoy light refreshments, and leave with renewed clarity and purpose. All materials are provided, just bring your curiosity and inspiration.

Reconnect, create, as you continue to step into 2026 feeling refreshed, aligned, and inspired.
